There’s a lot of Horse Chestnut Trees around us and they’re just starting to shed their conker seeds, so when I walked Mr P this morning I made sure I had empty pockets.
This is all I could carry this morning; some are out of their shells, some opened half way and some still unopened. I love the way they shine and are so smooth to the touch. There’s something cathartic about holding a conker seed in your hand and gently rolling it between your fingers.
Hope you’re having a bumper crop too – enough to play cookers with!
